LASER’S EDGE CHIROPRACTIC IN GTA AREA

Although Laser's Edge Chiropractic was established 11 years ago, both doctors have been practicing chiropractic medicine for more than 35 years. Meet Dr. Michael Prendergast, D.C. and Dr. Robert Hunt, D.C., specialists in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, and problems resulting from neuromusculoskeletal damage.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH

Laser’s Edge Chiropractic is effective because of its approach. Rather than treating patients with an ongoing chiropractic plan to minimize pain and increase the quality of life, we strive to eliminate the problem completely. Through a unique, goal-oriented approach, we seek to remove your pain and find a permanent solution to the problem.

Dr. Prendergast, D.C.

Dr. Prendergast has been a chiropractor and an acupuncturist for 35 years. He is skilled in all kinds of techniques in chiropractic treatment. Interventions can include soft tissue treatment, active releases technique (ART) and diversified chiropractic adjusting to all parts of the body including the head. He also provides treatments for TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders.

He is a graduate in the honors program from Trent University in Neurosciences. Dr. Prendergast is certified to provide Cranial Adjusting Turner Style (C.A.T.S.) since 2015 and is a certified Neuromechanical IQ adjuster since 2012. He has been providing Low Intensity Laser Treatment (LILT) since the time this treatment was available, 20 years ago.

He is well-read on the subject of nutrition and often gives patients advice. He is still very active physically and plays hockey, volleyball, downhill and water skies, golf and tennis, and has played many other sports over the years. He was a team doctor for hockey and football teams at his old high school for 12 years, and is very knowledgeable on sports injuries.
